This is a list of categories you can peruse if you want to Send "Admin" an idea for a Group Category or Forum Subject. Just a few Ideas to get Forum Community Members thinking about for posting "Topics" under some of them to get some discussions going.
And We like discussions. Not so much, "Yeah PumkinEater77, that's telling them, right on!" But if you gotta go (Post), you gotta go (Post). We just don't restrict your Minds here to 140 characters or less, "Like it's like The Spy Who Loved Me-meets-Naked Lunch-meets-Twilight! @Qwerty69 That's a Pitch"
But if you do pick a Category like "Balderdash" or "Rigmarole" We expect you to defend your choice for Forum Community discussion like a Ph.D. candidate defends his Thesis. Then We'll think about it.
We call this: Secret Agent Omega's Filing Cabinets.
Omega (0013) keeps real paper hardcopy files on, and studies, all this and more in order to get a good idea about "The Big Picture."
I had to take him out to a Gentleman's Club and pay a $1000 Escort called Tiffany to slip him a Mickey Finn so I could steal his house keys and scan his Master List. Feign going to the restroom, in and out, then out the club door for a smoke and walk around the building, hop in the non-descript **** and drive over to park on the street adjacent to Omega's alley.
There are eight cabinets labeled CI-1 trough CI-8. I'm not sure what the "C" stands for, but I'm sure the "I" stands for "Intelligence" files. His Hardcopy files go back to 1970 and he still keeps paper reports this way where they cannot be hacked from the Internet. And who has time to physically look through and photo scan eight full filing cabinets. Old School, this Omega. But just for the fun of it I stashed some Gay Porn in his CI-2 Conspiracy Theory file. In Trade Craft this is called rat-fucking. Maybe his Supervisor will find it during an Inspection. I'm sure he'll have a quick answer for it, but I'd still like to see the look on his face. People should aways find signs of their Conspiracy Theory files being messed with.
And yes, we know you Analysts over at the NSA (No Such Agency) are reading these key strokes right as I type them, just letting you know I know you know I know. That's how to play the Great Game. Make sure they practise keeping on their toes. There are no secret messages planted in this copy, as I would never hide code so obviously in plain sight.
Lucky for me, Omega Blacks Out a lot these days when he's drinking. So I got back to the club rear parking lot, lit a cigarette and then put it out as I showed the door bouncer my club hand stamp. Came in breathing out smoke and headed to the restroom. As you come out witnesses will only recall they saw you go to and from the head a couple of times, routine for drinkers. Then got the rest of my $1000 dollars worth of change/time from Tiffany in lap dances, best for witnesses remembering you blending in with your environment. And then loudly offered to drive poor poor poor old drunken Omega home. I try to think, plan and execute, Intel Ops through.
Certain things on the Master List seem redundant or the same, but actually have different degrees of meaning for different people. For example, the difference between Restricted, Classified and Secret. And you already used Literature out of cabinet CI-5 where also resides a file labeled Magazine/e-Zines. You also used Religion from CI-7 which seems similar to both the files Biblical and Biblical Archaeology from CI-2 and Theology from CI-8. But not quite. Intel Ops (Intelligence Operations) was in filing cabinet CI-4, by the way.
I deleted Omega's Sex & Blackmail files off this purloined list, and most of the "If I told you I'd have to kill you" stuff. We don't "Have the Need to Know" to go there.
But it's a decent list, not exactly in alphabetical order (I'm sure Omega had his own innate logic for this), to use as a starting point reference of categories (Groups) for damn near anything. There were 10 to 40 sub-files for each and every category but that really does seem redundant for Us. Of course I know Omega keeps his actual "Top Secret Code Word **** " paperwork switched to his "Unclassified" file and his "Unclassified" records in his "Top Secret Code Word **** " file, more Old School Trade Craft; but We need not concern Ourselves with such subterfuge here.
Besides, I just stole this Master List as a "Work for Hire" job for Dawson to use as the Table of Contents for the book he's working on, working title: Fear & Loathing in the Great Economic Downturn of the Cyber Age because he's also an obsessive-compulsive research-reference filer-awayer. He never said I couldn't also shop it out on the black market to "Other Interests." In Intel Ops you not only have to be "Specific" in your requests and instructions, but you gotta Pay for "$pecifics."
But I'm sure I'll add categories of my own to this list as I create "Favorites Files" as necessity dictates. I'm sure you will think of categorical imperative things that escape me right now too for future Categories; Subjects; Groups; Forums; Topics and Comments.
Anyway, here is Secret Agent Omega's Master List as modified 2.1, and with the choices of Literature and Religion pasted to the top since they were already selected.

Re: Secret Agent Omega's Brother has been Transitioned with Extreme Predilection
Well one of my Investigative Journalism heroes has passed away.
This is the Obituary for Anthony Allison, the Editor-in-Chief of AToL ( http://www.atimes.com/
I found out about Asia Times while I was called up to Active Duty on Homeland Security. I used to stay on top of all this stuff (I knew about the BOLO for the DC Snipers before you heard about it in the News, because we were keeping it quiet not to cause a panic--if the killings were not related--until we had a better idea if it was a National Security threat or just a common serial killer) but you reach a point where it becomes moot when you are not directly involved in it anymore and you realize internationally it's more about making profits on arms sales to let the Third World fight among themselves so the Natural Resources Pirates can steal what they want. Give them the arms for both sides, let God sort out the dead, and then sell the survivors Aid Packages at just 300% interest rates from campaign contributors' factories and banks. Yes, it really can be that simple when Governments, Multinational Corporations and Banks are more organized than Organized Crime.
Before 9/11 happened I was sure we were going to use The War On Drugs to start the next Vietnam in Latin America. It was a duck quacking. Then a handful of religious zealots in a couple of airplanes handed over the Iraqi Oil wells and the Afghanistan pipeline on a Three-card Monte silver platter. Well, we've rode that horse hard and practically put it away wet.
And now we have a Vietnam style revolution with those Godless Dope pushers against a Christian Government right on our doorstep in Mexico going quack, quack, quack.
I was pulling armed security out at Camp Mackall http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C.....mp_Mackall where there was new construction going on and we were pushing new Special Forces green beanie Military Advisers through like crazy. Most were idealistic young paratroopers wanting to do the right thing for their country in the War on Terror. A few knowing this is their chance to find the right angle to work to make a small fortune in a foreign land making the right deals with warlords. No new story here, takes place in a land that never was but always is. Shawdowland.
Yes the CIA and the State Department (the non-political appointees) run recruitment ads here (so does the IRS) at AToL in Thailand because they know if you actually found your way here and read this cyber rag you might have the interesting mind to make a half-way decent desk jockey analyst, and escape the boring Frat boy MBAs. And overall most of the spooks are the good guys caught between the Rock of a sense of National Duty and the Hard Place of Political Commerce. But I could never work for an agency who would stand by and let an Administration sell out an asset like Valerie Plame. I saw first-hand in the Military what it was like when officers (and NCOs) screwed over their own troops to try and get ahead and make rank. And there is more of this goes on in the Military and in Shawdowland than they would like the Public to find out about, it is not just the stuff of movie fare. Pawns get screwed on the Global chessboard all sorts of ways (and apparently on the Cosmic chessboard too).
It's the Oliver Norths and John Poindexters that really give you the muck to rake. And every country seems to have their own collection of Machiavellians. Everybody else are just trying to be good germans with a house with a fence and a car and a wife, and let the whistle blowers cover their own asses--we didn't see nothing.
I hope AToL still stays the great Investigative Journalism source for we amateur Intel hobbyist, and for book reviews. It's like reading a W.E.B. Griffin O.S.S. novel set in current events like a Big Picture Puzzle.
