    1.  consumers hate walmart. They just sale low quality items with fake ideology of low cost. Indeed some of the products are more expensive than other outlets in China. At the same time, no parking lots were provided in walmart, and there are always so crowded.

    2. Suppliers and factories hate walmart. Under big pressure of WM's "low cost" principle, the buyers of WM have to source very hard to find the cheapest supplier in world. They can do anything to make that happen. When I was working in Taiwan trading company, I had heard so many factory owners complaing no profits for WM's orders. But the factories need to survive, they need to take WM's large order to keep the workers, the machines, the whole system running on. Walmart just push people to set up lots of new factories for them and pollute the local environment with low end manufacturing implement, then they just go away, to find another new virgin land to spreading their factories and left awful mess to locals.  Taiwai was history, now is China Mainland, tomorrow will be Vietnam and other east Asia countries. I can even imagine that Walmart is able to set up factories in North Korean as long as there's a very tiny little gap existing there.

    3. Walmart employees donot like their company either. Long time work, low payment standards, just like most companies in China.

Straight from Mainland China!  Thank you "haydenting."

Sounds like WalMart practices the "Capitalist Domino Theory."
