  I hate Holiday Season Music!

But not for probably the reasons you might think.  Back when I was in the military and sent overseas and separated from my family, inevitably, the Holiday Season becomes a part of that officially forced sunderance.  "Geographic Bachelors" they called us.

So this Administrative paper-pusher of a Dork, of a "Passed Over" for promotion, Lt. Colonel decides it is God's will to play Holiday music every waking hour over the base Public Address System where there is barely any escape from it for the whole month of December.  And then he went back Stateside on R&R furlough so we couldn't frag him.

Now if it wasn't bad enough all of us Geographical Bachelors were missing our families, this Ignoramus was making sure we couldn't possibly take our minds off the fact that we were half way around the world from Home.  The constant Holiday music just made us feel more Isolated with every passing day.

I don't know why I didn't think, at the time, to just take some wire cutters and cut all the electric lines to all the loud speakers.  That's been quite a few years ago and it still bugs me hearing Holiday music over speaker systems like at Malls.

And I used to like all that stuff.  I'd almost rather be water-boarded than be forced to listen to Holiday music.  And I'll bet to this day that Idiot doesn't know how he tortured us.

What amazes me is for kids growing up today how many versions there are of "Santa" movies.  Seems like with all these different Santa movies on all these different channels, kids would be confused--like they already don't bug you with enough questions about everything.

So which comedian is going to rescue Santa from what catastrophe this season and save Christmas for all the good boys & girls this year?  Does this plot never grow old.

I'm waiting for the inevitable Hero saves Santa & Christmas from the Vampires, Zombies & Werewolves Movie!!!  That sounds like a Hot Ticket!

Gather around the Christmas Tree and sing traditional Holiday songs: "It's the most Wonderful Sale of the Year!"

The really young nieces and nephews who learn all the lyrics to all the commercials on TV and sit and sing along with the advertisements, think We Adults do not know the correct words to Christmas songs.

  "Happy Honda Days!"
